Lonicera calcarata by Sandrine Maugy

From the 'Garden of Roy Lancaster'

"A high climbing honeysuckle from woodland on Emei Shan, a botanically rich mountain in W. Sichuan, China. A seedling of this rare species, the first introduction to British cultivation was given me by its collector the Japanese botanist Mikinori Ogisu in 1998. Planted on the south wall of my house in 1998 it has now reached 20ft. and flowered for the first time in June-July 2001."
